Abstract
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) as a manifestation of vein thromboembolism is a frequent and potentially life-threatening disease especially in hospitalized and immobile patients. Diabetes mellitus and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) are of its reported, challenging risk factors. Here, we reported a diabetic patient presented with DKA and DVT who showed hypothyroidism-induced warfarin resistance. © 2019, Semnan University of Medical Sciences. All rights reserved.
